Effective
All
full-time employees with five of more years of service will get an additional
holiday on the Employee’s Birthday. If the date falls on a weekend, the employee must
take the preceding Friday or following Monday as the holiday.
An employee must be an active Full-Time employee for 30 days or an active Part-Time employee, scheduled to work more than 20 hours per week, for 60 days prior to a holiday in order to be compensated for the holiday. Part-time employees are only eligible for holiday compensation for holidays, which fall on their regularly scheduled workdays and will only be paid for the number of hours for which they are normally scheduled to work. Further, Part-Time employees will only be paid for one holiday in a given week, with a maximum of two paid holidays in any pay period.
